FAQ
How would you describe your photography approach?
We consider our photography to be full of style and elegance, without sacrificing the natural, documentary way of shooting. For the majority of your day, we remain unobtrusive, ensuring the genuine moments are captured without interruption. However, during portrait sessions, we'll provide guidance to ensure you look your absolute best in every photo. Recognizing that each wedding is unique, we always strive to adapt our approach to meet the specific needs and preferences of every couple.
Where are you based?
Our base is on a beautiful island of Mallorca, from where we travel to all of the beautiful destination wedding in France, Italy and Mexico.
Can we share our photos on social networks?
Of course, feel free to share any photos you like! We'd be truly grateful if you could tag or mention us on Instagram when you do :)
How many film photos will I get?
It depends on your chosen collection or the film add-on. Please contact us for details!
How many color and black and white images do you deliver?
We generally deliver 10-20% of digital and 20-30% of film images in black-and-white and the rest in color. If you would like to adjust this ratio, we are happy to accommodate. We also have an option to deliver all digital images in both versions: color and B&W.
Which film do you use?
We use a combination of different film types throughout the wedding day, as no single type suits every situation. Our go-to film rolls are Kodak Portra, Kodak Gold, and Ilford HP5 or Delta.
What is the difference between film wedding photography and digital?
Film photography gives your wedding photos a classic, timeless look with warm tones and a unique texture that many find adds a romantic touch. Digital photography, on the other hand, produces crisp, vibrant images with closer-to-real colours. The choice between film and digital ultimately comes down to the style and feel you envision for your wedding memories.
Do you mostly shoot with analog or digital cameras?
We use various cameras on the wedding day, both analog and digital. Throughout the day, there are many different situations, and each requires a specific approach. We leverage our knowledge and experience to decide which camera and settings are best in any given moment.
How do you deliver the film photos? What is the process?
After shooting, the film is developed in a professional lab. Then, the negatives are scanned using a special film scanner. We deliver the resulting JPG files to you through your online wedding gallery. The black uneven frame you might see around some shots occurs because the scanner reads a frame slightly larger than the photo itself. This frame can be cropped later if desired.
Can we meet before booking you for our wedding in France?
Absolutely! Meeting beforehand allows us to discuss your wedding plans in detail and understand precisely what you're seeking in a wedding photographer. If an in-person meeting isn't feasible, we can arrange a video chat anytime.
We love the idea of having you on our wedding! What is the best way to get in touch?
