We create a space for you to be yourselves. Blending an editorial eye with a relaxed, documentary approach, we document your day with honesty, beauty, and intention.
Hello! We are Paco and Aga, Lake Como wedding photographers specializing in film and digital wedding photography across Italy and other European destinations. If you're looking for a photographer to capture your wedding on Lago di Como with an artistic, timeless quality, you're in the right place.
Film photography offers a timeless and artistic quality that complements modern digital images. We combine both approaches to ensure your wedding day is documented beautifully, capturing real connections in a natural and elegant style.
We love to photograph couples who want their wedding in Lake Como to be something more than a traditional event — couples who value genuine moments and want to share them with friends and family. Whether it's a luxurious civil ceremony by the lake or a romantic church wedding, we would be honoured to accompany you on this unforgettable day.
Lago di Como provides a breathtaking backdrop for your wedding, promising memories that last a lifetime. If you're looking for a refined, artistic, and editorial approach to wedding photography, just drop us a line — we'd love to chat!
Lake Como's dramatic scenery — the misty mountains, the mirror-like water, the grandeur of its historic villas — comes alive in a very particular way on analog film. The soft, painterly quality of film photography feels made for this landscape, creating images with a depth and warmth that's impossible to replicate digitally. We strive to craft images that are not just photographs, but enduring pieces of art.
Our services range from exclusively analog collections to smaller add-ons to digital coverage, blending the timeless appeal of film with the versatility of digital photography. If film photography is something you'd like to incorporate into your Lake Como wedding day, reach out to us today for more information.
What is the difference between film and digital wedding photography? Analog photography surely has its particular charm. For us, it's the little imperfections of film photography that slowly disappeared with the introduction of digital cameras. While we love modern technology, the analog film limits are the ones that spark a whole new level of creativity in us.
Do you only shoot with analog cameras? We use various cameras on the wedding day, both analog and digital. Throughout the day, there are many different situations, and each requires a specific approach. We leverage our knowledge and experience to decide which camera and settings are best in any given moment.
Do you shoot color or black and white film? We usually do 80% color and the rest black and white film rolls, however, if you have a preference for more B/W or more color, we can certainly accommodate that.
Which analog film do you use? We use a combination of different film types throughout the wedding day, as no single type suits every situation. Our go-to film rolls are Kodak Portra, Kodak Gold, and Ilford HP5 and Delta.
How do you deliver the film photos? What is the process? After shooting, the film is developed in a professional lab. Then, the negatives are scanned using various methods. We deliver the resulting JPG files to you through your online wedding gallery. The black uneven frame you might see around some shots occurs because the scanner reads a frame slightly larger than the photo itself. This frame can be cropped later if desired.
Can we meet before booking you for our wedding in Italy? Absolutely — meeting allows us to discuss your plans and understand what you're looking for in a wedding photographer. If an in-person meeting isn't feasible, we're happy to arrange a video chat at your convenience.
How can we get your availability and pricing details? Contact us through this form and we'll get back to you with all the details.
